By accessing our website at salinainsulation.com or requesting services from Salina Insulation, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or engage our services. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Salina Insulation is an insulation contractor based in Salina, KS. We provide residential and commercial insulation services including, but not limited to:
All services are performed within our service area in central and western Kansas. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.
We provide free written estimates following an on-site assessment. Estimates are based on the conditions observed at the time of the visit and the scope of work described. Estimates are not contracts and do not guarantee a final price if conditions change.
Final pricing is confirmed in a written proposal or contract before work begins. If unforeseen conditions are discovered during the job - such as hidden moisture damage, structural issues, or additional area requiring treatment - we will notify you before proceeding with any work that would change the scope or price. You have the right to approve or decline any scope changes before they are carried out.
Prices are quoted in US dollars and are subject to change if more than 30 days pass between an estimate and a signed agreement, due to material cost fluctuations.
Once a project is scheduled, we ask for reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to reassign our crew and equipment effectively.
If we need to reschedule due to weather, equipment availability, or other circumstances, we will notify you as early as possible and work to find the next available appointment that suits you.
For spray foam jobs requiring occupants to vacate the premises, you are responsible for making appropriate arrangements. We will provide a clear re-entry timeline before work begins. We are not liable for costs associated with temporary relocation during installation.
Payment terms are specified in your written project agreement. In general:
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by Kansas law, whichever is less. If collection action is required, you agree to pay reasonable attorneys fees and collection costs.
We stand behind our work. We provide a workmanship warranty on all installation services. If a defect in our workmanship is identified within the warranty period - as specified in your project agreement - we will return to remedy it at no additional charge.
Product and material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product. Your written estimate or project agreement will identify any applicable material warranties. We do not provide extended warranties beyond what the manufacturer offers for materials.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by: events outside our control (storms, flooding, acts of nature), modifications made to our work by others, moisture intrusion resulting from pre-existing structural issues not disclosed at the time of estimate, or normal wear and settling over time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salina Insulation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or our website - including loss of income, loss of data, or damage to property not directly caused by our work.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project will not exceed the amount paid by you for that project. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury resulting from our work.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled date. You are responsible for removing valuables, fragile items, and personal property from the work area before our crew arrives. We will take reasonable care to protect your home during the job, but we are not responsible for damage to items that should have been removed from the work area.
You represent that you have the authority to authorize work on the property. If you are a tenant, you confirm that you have obtained permission from the property owner before engaging our services.
Where required by local ordinance, we will obtain the necessary permits for your project. Permit fees, when applicable, will be communicated in your written estimate. You agree to cooperate with any required inspections. We are not responsible for delays caused by permit processing timelines beyond our control. All work is performed in compliance with applicable state and local building requirements.
If a dispute arises between you and Salina Insulation in connection with our services, we ask that you contact us first at estimates@salinainsulation.com so we have the opportunity to resolve it directly. Most concerns can be addressed quickly through a direct conversation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to attempt resolution through non-binding mediation before pursuing litigation. Any legal action must be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction in Saline County, Kansas.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Saline County, Kansas.
